South Super Regional

Our performance at the Super Regional hinged on a rule that was not enforced at our State Competition. Due to a rule technicality, the fact that our robot slid down from the mountain after the match ended cost us the points for “chinning up”. During state it was simply ruled as wherever the robot was at the moment the match ended, so we always got the points when we “chinned up”. During day two of the super regional, we fixed  the problem by adding a one way stop to our fabric that prevented the robot from sliding.

In our first match we were paired with team 8651 and lost 187-207.

In our second match we were paired with team 5494 and won 109-14.

In our third match we were paired with team 8946 and won 115-81.

In our fourth match we were paired with team 9460 and lost 156-189.

In our fifth match we were paired with team 9778 and lost 226-339.

In our sixth match we were paired with team 8913 and lost 150-219.

In our seventh match we were paired with team 6299 and won 384-297.

In our eighth match we were paired with team 127 and won 262-178.

In our ninth match we were paired with team 8001 and won 229-137.

We finished 19th in the Bluford Division, and 37th overall. We were not picked for any alliances nor did we win any awards. We were still happy with our performance though, since we finished just below the top half of teams and had a positive win rate.
